Created for the SNESDEV 2025 Game Jam! Thanks to all from the discord for their help and camaraderie :D

Push the balls of light around to place them on their respective stars. You can merge balls if their respective light colors don't overlap.

The "Jam Edition" is the original ROM submitted for the game jam. v.2 includes more levels that do a better job showing off the mechanic. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!

Controls

D-pad to move and push. Press START to restart levels if you get stuck! There are also some secret inputs you should be able to find :)

Forth

This game was largely an excuse to take a shot at writing a Forth for the SNES! It was a lot of fun, but it wound up being much more of a compiler project and less of a game project than intended xD I hope you enjoy the result, regardless! Code is available at https://github.com/Acedio/snes-forth for those interested. Now to find out how to hook a keyboard up to this thing...

Web Emulator

I've used the excellent EmulatorJS to embed the game here.

Hey, I hope you don't mind, but I featured your game in the best SNES homebrew games of 2025

Not at all! Honored you included it :D Thanks for letting me know!

My pleasure :)

Great update!

Thank you! I'm definitely much happier with this iteration :)

I grew up a big fan of Sokoban and your twist on it had me genuinely excited, if you made some more puzzles for this I would be thrilled!  Solid game jam entry!

Thanks so much for giving the game a shot! I've just uploaded a v.2 that includes several more levels if you're interested :) Please let me know what you think if you do try it out again!

I've also made it so you can skip levels you've already played by pressing START while holding SELECT ;)

I am thrilled, as I said I would be!  Thank you for making these new levels it was an absolute pleasure to play them!  I'm a huge Sokonyan fan!

So glad you liked them! I'm definitely much happier with this version of the game :D Creating new levels went more smoothly than I'd initially anticipated, but it still gave me a new appreciation for devs that can design really interesting puzzles.

Such a lovely game! I love it!

Thank you for trying it!! I'm really happy with how it turned out, even though I'd definitely would have liked to add more (/interesting) levels 😅

Nice! Will you add more levels after the jam?
The concept is nice with the combining of colors especially.

Thank you for trying it!! I do want to try to make more levels where actually thinking through the color combinations would be required. Right now they're pretty obvious solutions ^^;

Also would like to add some more polish/animation and fix a typo on the end screen xD But the need for sleep won this time!
